If you’ve got a Jeep, you already know the vibe. You see another Wrangler with a lift and bigger tires, you nod. You pass a Gladiator loaded down with a cooler and camp chairs, you get it.
Around the Wiregrass, “Jeep season” is basically year-round, but spring through fall is when the calendar gets fun. From beach takeovers to show-and-shine meetups, there are a handful of Jeep events that are absolutely worth planning a weekend around.
And while we love a road trip (Panama City Beach is basically in our backyard), the one we get most excited about is right here at home: the annual L.A. Jeep Nation Jeep Round-Up in September.

The local favorite: L.A. Jeep Nation Jeep Round-Up
(September in Enterprise)
If you want the Jeep-community feel without packing a suitcase, this is the one.
L.A. Jeep Nation’s Lower Alabama Jeep Round Up has been hosted at the Enterprise Civic Center, and it’s built for a laid-back, family-friendly day: Jeeps everywhere, vendors, food trucks, and plenty of reasons to hang out and talk builds.
This is also the kind of event where you’ll see everything in one parking lot, stock daily drivers, tasteful weekend rigs, and the “I definitely didn’t buy this on accident” builds with lights, racks, and gear for days.
If you’re new, here’s how to do it
- Bring a chair (you’ll end up posted up talking to somebody about tires).
- Bring water (September is still very much Alabama).
- Don’t overthink your Jeep. Show up as-is. That’s the point.
Beach week energy: Florida Jeep Jam (Panama City Beach)
If you’ve never been to a Jeep week at the beach, Florida Jeep Jam is a classic. It’s an annual takeover in Panama City Beach, and the official event info for 2026 lists it as May 11–16, 2026.
Why people love it:
- Big vendor presence
- Jeep obstacle course
- Beach parties, parades, and all-week activities
It’s also an easy sell for Wiregrass drivers because it’s a doable drive for a long weekend. Leave early, arrive before lunch, and you’re parked before the crowds really roll in.

Jeep Beach (Daytona Beach, FL)
Jeep Beach 2026 is listed as April 17–26, 2026 in Daytona Beach.
This one is huge, and it’s more than a “single location” event, lots of activities spread around the area.
Jeepin’ the Coast (Mississippi Gulf Coast)
Jeepin’ the Coast 2026 is listed as May 27–31, 2026, with multiple days of events on the MS Gulf Coast.
Gulf of America Jeep Fest (Gulf Shores, AL)
Gulf Shores has a Jeep fest on the calendar too. The Gulf Shores event listing shows Sept. 24–27, 2026, headquartered at The Hangout.
Jeeptoberfest (Ocala, FL)
If fall is more your speed, Jeeptoberfest is listed for Oct. 9–11, 2026 in Ocala.
Before you roll out: get your Jeep ready for event weekends
Even if your Jeep is “mostly fine,” event weekends usually mean extra miles, more idling, more stop-and-go, and more heat than your normal routine. A quick pre-trip check is worth it.
A few smart basics:
- Tire pressure + tread check (especially if you’re running bigger tires)
- Brakes (don’t wait until you hear it)
- Fluids topped off
- Battery check if you’ve got extra lights/accessories
- A/C check (because Alabama)
